The Brubeck/Desmond Experience

Performing the incredible music of Dave Brubeck and Paul Desmond, from the albums Time Out through to Jazz Impressions of Japan and Desmond’s music from the post Brubeck Quartet.

We play many of the great tracks from ‘Time Out’ and Time Further Out’ written by Desmond and Brubeck
Take Five, Three To Get Ready etc. We capture the ‘cool classic’ sound of the great Brubeck Quartet and the later era of The Paul Desmond Quartet.
The Brubeck/Desmond Experience presents a rare live performance of music from Dave Brubeck and Paul Desmond’s legendary Time Out album, one of the best selling and most influential jazz records of all time. These pieces, famous for their daring time signature shifts and rhythmic complexity, are seldom heard on stage today. This concert offers a unique chance to experience these groundbreaking works, along with other classics from the Brubeck and Desmond catalogue, brought to life with the quartet’s signature clarity, swing, super cool sound and contemporary energy.
